The villa called for creating a standard floor plan for the 1st and 2nd level over an existing ground floor along with designing the elevations. Adding spaces to an essentially linear land without creating congestion was the project's most difficult problem. Other difficulties included the lack of sunlight reaching the plot from the north and east due to other structures blocking it. A room with no natural light was the best option after much negotiation with the client.
