The project's objective was to construct the home in accordance with traditional Omani values. The proposal needed to include a majlis for both men and women. The majlis were set apart from the family villa because Omani families value their privacy highly. Private swimming pools were created for each majlis and the villa for maximum seclusion. No matter where you are in the overall plot, these volumes are laid out to offer lovely views.

 

To achieve a distinctive design, traditional Omani elements were combined with certain modern components. For texture and to assist the project blend in with the surroundings, stone cladding was used.
